David George

David is a senior partner in our IT specialist group serving a number of Deloitte’s largest external audit client. David also leads our third party assurance practice in the UK, being responsible for engagements for clients across numerous sectors reporting against different standards including ISAE3402, SSAE18 (SOC 1 and SOC 2) and AAF 01/20. He also acts as engagement quality control review partner for a number of third party assurance engagements. David is a technology graduate and fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

• Experience -Leading or quality assuring third party assurance engagements for payment clearing companies, global banks, investment managers, pension schemes and IT service providers.
• Leading the external IT audit work for a number of FTSE100 businesses covering general computer controls, automated application controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Leading advisory projects for organisations enhancing their control environments as a result of regulatory change.
• Providing advice to clients with significant outsourced arrangements to help them better manage their risk profile.
