Elanor Buchanan

Elanor is a part of the IP Advisory team and has experience delivering value in a range of IP services, including patent landscaping, portfolio analysis, prior art searches, and competitive intelligence. She is experienced in monitoring changing patent landscapes for evolving technologies and conducting in depth and detailed freedom to operate searches for complex technologies. Recently, she has been assisting clients exploit their IP rights for Patent Box.

Elanor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Bath and her background in STEM and experience with data analysis enables her to rapidly learn new technologies and aid clients across multiple industry sectors with their IP discovery and management.

Prior to working for Deloitte, she built spreadsheets and conducted market research and data analysis as a volunteer in South Africa.

Beyond IP Advisory, Elanor is a Regional Lead for Proud at Deloitte’s Reading community.
