​Gabi Baumgartner

Gabi Baumgartner is an actuary and has over 10 years’ experience in the life insurance industry. She is a Director within Deloitte’s Analytics & Quantitative Modelling team and leads the Insurance Capital Markets Group team in London that provides economic scenario generator and modelling solutions to clients.

Gabi has been instrumental in supporting clients with developing methodologies for their Solvency II internal model. She provided technical assistance for proxy modelling, market and life risk modelling, capital aggregation and attribution to most UK internal model firms. Despite her deep technical skills, clients have appreciated her ability to make complex matters accessible to less technical users.
