Hannah Simkin

Hannah is a member of Deloitte’s Financial Services Tax practice in London and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. She has nine years of experience providing international tax services to multinational groups, specialising in the insurance industry, including two years working in New York advising US multinationals on EMEA tax developments.

Hannah focuses on assisting multinationals with the operational aspects of cross-border restructuring projects considering operating model design, controlled foreign company, permanent establishment and tax residence rules. She has recently been leading on the implications of the OECD digitalisation programme of work for the insurance industry and works with a number of non-insurance groups with captive insurance companies.
