IP Advisory Associate
Lois is involved in a range of IP advisory services such as IP discovery, patent landscaping and patent portfolio analysis. She has been able to combine her technical background with her patent, trademark and copyright knowledge to assist clients across multiple industries. Lois has a First-Class Honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Sussex. Her final year research focused on cell signalling in cancer cells, and other topics of interest included drug discovery and applications of IP in biotechnology and medicine. Lois also has a Master’s degree in Management of Intellectual Property and a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London, whereby she achieved a Distinction and won the GlaxoSmithKline prize for obtaining the highest mark in patent law. Prior to joining Deloitte, Lois worked as a legal assistant for a firm of IP solicitors, focusing on trade mark litigation.
