Lotta Syrjala

Lotta is an economist with over 10 years of experience at Deloitte in a wide range of transfer pricing topics across industries, including working with large consumer business groups and private equity backed companies.

Lotta is a specialist in transfer pricing in an M&A context and leads a team of transfer pricing specialists as part of M&A tax.

Lotta has acted as project manager on several restructuring and business model optimisation projects so has a good understanding of the challenges involved from the perspective of the business. In particular she managed a project for several years for a UK listed group around implementation of their transfer pricing policies within statutory accounts globally. She has significant experience in the field of IP restructuring and business model restructuring from a transfer pricing perspective. Lotta also has experience of dealing with HMRC and Tax Authority negotiations including an APA for a large US owned consumer business group and discussion of exit charges.
