Mark Simpson

With a focus on Electronic Discovery, service delivery operations and managed services, Mark has built and led teams in several European countries working across all stages of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model, supporting major international litigation, regulatory investigations and UK public inquiries. He has expertise in data privacy and cross-border data transfers and has advised on complex multi-jurisdictional eDiscovery matters involving European and US parties and regulators.

Mark is CIPP/E and CIPM-certified, and had practised as a barrister and solicitor in Perth, Western Australia before relocating to the UK in 1997.

He has spent over 22 years leading the development of information, technology and consulting solutions for legal, life sciences, intellectual property and academic sectors. Mark's products, solutions and teams have won awards including the Queen’s Award for Excellence (Innovation Category) and Legal Technology Awards Online Product of the Year.
