Nick Marsden

Nick is an international and corporate tax partner with over 25 years of experience. He provides advice to multinational companies on a wide range of matters. This includes advice on acquisitions and disposals, restructurings, domestic and cross border financing arrangements, transfer pricing and intellectual property matters. He also has extensive experience on global compliance and tax reporting engagements ensuring that these happen efficiently and effectively and in a way that risks and opportunities (particularly in the areas of incentives such as patent box and R&D) are appropriately identified. Nick has significant experience in negotiating tax clearances and transfer pricing agreements with HMRC as well as working with taxpayers on complex enquiries including Profit Diversion Compliance Facility engagements.

Nick is known for combining his technical expertise with an understanding of a client’s commercial position to deliver practical and pragmatic advice. As part of his work, Nick regularly leads a global network of partners and teams on complex projects for clients.

Nick is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
