Ric Simes

Ric has extensive knowledge in public policy, governance, finance, econometrics, economic analysis and strategy. Over his career he has led numerous projects in competition and regulation, the digital economy, financial services, climate change, energy, transport and water. Past experience includes working in the Australian Treasury, academia, the Australian Office of the Prime Minister and financial markets before moving into full-time consulting in 2003.
