Samantha Bates

Sam is a director and a certified auditor with 14 years’ extensive experience of leading and coordinating audit engagement for Private Markets companies across a number of sectors including professional services, consumer business and port authorities. 

She has experience working on a range of clients from family-owned private markets businesses to a large multitude of audit and advisory engagements across a number of sectors including retail, manufacturing and consumer business.

Sam is one of the leaders of the Portfolio audit team based in the South and South West of the UK and her current clients include leading law firms, port authorities, renewable energy companies as well as international referrals from chemical distributors.

Sam has previous experience of advisory work in the field of corporate governance and preparation of historic financial information for IPOs.

She holds a degree from Oxford University, is ACA qualified and a member of the ICAEW. Sam is married and has three children.
