Host: Joe Guastella, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP
Volatility, uncertainty, and confusing developments in the global economy and US-China relationship define 2020. In our annual review, we will assess the landscape. What should multinational company (MNC) executives know and how can they best process these developments? We’ll discuss:
- Reviewing major policy moves, media coverage, and MNCs’ experiences in 2020.
- Impact of converging forces: pandemic, economic pressures, and government actions and reaction on major sectors of interest to foreign investors.
- How MNCs adapted their investment strategies and local organizations to known and uncertain forces in the China business environment.
