Meet the speaker
Maria is Deloitte’s lead Regulatory Advisory principal with Deloitte & Touche LLP, serving the Investment Management industry. For more than 20 years, Maria has acquired extensive experience on a broad range of issues and transactions affecting clients. She has advised clients on regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters involving the creation, regulation, acquisition, and ongoing operation of registered investment companies, business development companies, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), private funds, and their investment advisers.
Lauren is a senior manager in Deloitte’s Investment Management practice. She has more than 13 years of experience serving registered investment companies, exchange traded funds, collective investment trusts, and hedge funds, and has served many of the firm’s largest investment management clients. Lauren has been a public speaker on accounting and financial reporting topics impacting the industry and has authored previous articles on the SEC Proposed ETF Rule.
Amy has more than 20 years dedicated to the Asset Management industry. During these years she has worked extensively with registered investment companies, hedge funds, private equity funds, exchange-traded funds, unit investment trusts, fund of funds and insurance separate accounts. She serves as an engagement quality control reviewer for the asset management industry. She has served as an investment subject matter resource, assisting other teams and clients in implementing best practice processes and procedures around investments. Amy’s strong technical expertise in investments and the fund industry has been used to provide excellent client service and leadership on the most complex and significant clients within the asset management and insurance industries.
