As executive director for the Deloitte Research Center for Energy & Industrials, Deloitte Services LP, Kate works closely with Deloitte’s Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) leadership to drive energy research initiatives. In tandem with Deloitte’s ER&I partners, Kate manages the execution of the Center’s strategy as well as eminence and thought leadership. During her more than 20-year career as an energy and mobility leader, Kate has occupied senior roles in energy research and consulting/advisory firms. Kate has led global research teams based in North America, Europe, and Asia, and she has worked with energy and automotive companies, institutional investors, and start ups. She is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Stanley serves as vice chairman and Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) Industry leader. Deloitte’s ER&I industry practice consists of more than 6,000 practitioners—representing the Industrial Products & Construction; Oil, Gas & Chemicals; and Power, Utilities & Renewables sectors—who collaborate to address the most critical and complex challenges of Deloitte’s clients. Stanley’s responsibilities include the overall strategic direction of the practice, alignment of resources with clients, team leadership development and succession, and go-to-market strategies for Deloitte’s key businesses, including consulting, audit, tax, risk, and financial advisory services. Stanley is a member of Deloitte’s LLP's Board of Directors and is a lead client service partner with 30 years of experience assisting energy executives in matters regarding strategy, capex optimization, opex reduction, mergers, and digital adoption (robotics, analytics, cognitive, etc.) to enhance business performance.

US Energy, Resources & Industrials Advisory Leader

Katie is a principal at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP and currently serves as the US Energy, Resources & Industrials Advisory leader for services in the areas of strategic, financial, transactional, operational, and regulatory risks. Prior to this role, she led the oil and gas sector where she worked with oil and gas clients to assess risks to corporate and functional strategies, which has included implementing risk sensing and other digital and analytical tools and approaches to support clients in prioritizing and resourcing risks identified and undergoing transformation. Katie has also worked across power and utilities, mining and metals, chemicals, and industrial products where she has delivered in the areas of compliance, investigations, disputes, and transactions. Additionally, she has been focused on working with clients who evaluate compliance programs, undergo investigations, or undertake initiatives to enhance business continuity and crisis management. Prior to joining Deloitte, Katie worked in a special liability group for a commercial insurer.
