Meet the speakers
With more than 30 years of audit and accounting experience, Kirsten Vosen serves as the Audit & Assurance Private leader, focused on strategic growth in the private segment. In addition, Kirsten serves as the Partner in Charge of Private Company Matters in the National Office Audit Group at Deloitte & Touche LLP. In this role, she is charged with leading the consultation and rollout of our Private Audit Methodology, including leadership involvement in our private company centers of excellence and a variety of global transformation efforts.
Bhuvy is a principal in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Private Equity practice. His expertise is in addressing issues ranging from new and adjacent market entry, global market sizing and profitability assessments, customer segmentation, new product and services strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), commercial and operational due diligence, revenue and margin uplift in M&A, competitive analysis, and new business models and their implications for organization design. Bhuvy also operates on the back-end of the M&A lifecycle by helping clients identify sources of, and estimate growth synergies in, M&A transactions and in helping execute pre- and post-day 1 integration activities for sales and marketing functions. His past experiences include portfolio analysis and shaping for multi-billion dollar businesses, numerous market analyses to help companies grow by entering adjacent markets, identification and screening of targets for M&A, conducting commercial/market and operational diligence to help strategic and private equity buyers make investment decisions into businesses, and pricing analyses. He also had extensive experience working with defense contractors, government agencies, and governments wealth funds on issues of critical importance Mr. Abrol holds a BA in economics (cum laude) from Lawrence University, a BS in electrical engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA in strategy and entrepreneurship from the Anderson School at UCLA.
Jason is an Audit & Assurance partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP with more than 20 years of experience. As the national leader of the Audit & Assurance Private Equity business, he delivers premium services to private equity firms and their portfolio companies as a single, strategic client. He has led many teams in executing audit and advisory services for some of Deloitte’s largest private equity clients and SEC registrants. His clients include publicly traded asset managers, registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, and investment funds. He also works with various private-equity-focused organizations, facilitating panels and collaborating on events on industry hot topics. Jason is committed to community involvement, especially with youth development and education, serving on the board of directors of Abilities, Inc. and leading Deloitte Long Island’s Junior Achievement support. He also coaches youth basketball and lacrosse.
