1 Overview CPE credit | Taxes

While tax legislative proposals affecting high net worth individuals remain fluid, there are still key individual income and transfer tax issues on the minds of owners of privately held companies. We’ll discuss:

  • Tax policy proposals and the likelihood of passage
  • Tax planning for the entity owner, such as the passthrough entity tax, deductibility of losses and other topics
  • Wealth transfer tax planning and family governance issues for the closely held business
