Jim is the managing director of the Deloitte Center for Financial Services, where he is responsible for defining the marketplace positioning and development of the Center’s eminence and key activities. Jim is frequently a keynote speaker at major industry and client conferences. Prior to joining Deloitte, Jim served in several research and consulting leadership roles at TowerGroup.

Luca De Blasis is a Manager within Monitor Deloitte’s Consulting practice, where he focuses on corporate strategy and disruptive innovation in the financial services industry. Luca has an extensive experience in helping financial services leaders navigate growth and digital transformation by integrating distinct perspectives on the future of the industry, a rigorous approach to strategy design, and a focus on building collaborative relationships. While at Deloitte, he has contributed significantly to the firm’s thought leadership agenda in the retail and commercial banking space, co-authoring several market-leading perspectives. Luca is also an advisor to the World Economic Forum’s disruptive innovation in financial services program, where he previously held a secondment and co-authored a report on the multiplicative impact of emerging technologies in the industry.
