Kwasi is principal in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Government and Public Services Practice (GPS) with more than 15 years of consulting experience. Throughout his tenure, Kwasi has demonstrated experience guiding security and law enforcement executives through strategic and operational transformations to address emerging security threats.
To date, Kwasi has served over 40+ clients across the Deloitte’s Government and Commercial practices. More specifically, he has supported physical and information security programs within the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, Department of Defense, and the Financial Services, Telecommunications, Technology, and Energy sectors. Previously, Kwasi also served as the Strategy Offering Lead within Deloitte GPS’s Strategy & Analytics Portfolio, leading nearly 400 practitioners.
As a leader, Kwasi is passionate about mentoring and developing the next generation of diverse leaders. Currently, he serves as the Diversity & Inclusion Lead for Deloitte Consulting LLP and has championed recruiting diverse talent through Deloitte’s first ever Inclusion Hiring Blitz. In his current role, Kwasi also leads national initiatives focused on the advancement and development of female, minority, veteran, and transgender practitioners at Deloitte.
Kwasi is an active skills-based volunteer in the non-profit and higher education community within the greater Washington D.C. area and serves as a board member for the Urban Alliance Foundation.
He is also an accomplished presenter including lectures at the University of Oxford and Georgetown University. He has co-authored more than 15 publications in peer-reviewed research journals and industry trade magazines including recently published original research on the topic of incentive prizes in the public sector.
Kwasi holds a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from Northwestern University, an MBA from Drexel University, and B.A. from Kalamazoo College.
