Deloitte Hires Amy Chaput and Monica McEwen to Lead Strategic Analytics and AI Services in the Public Sector
Amy Chaput and Monica McEwen will support government agencies in advancing their data analytics efforts to become more efficient and better deliver core public services to citizens.
WASHINGTON, May 24, 2021 — Deloitte announced today that Amy Chaput and Monica McEwen have joined its Government & Public Services (GPS) consulting practice, serving as leaders in the Deloitte Analytics and Cognitive practice to help address the unique challenges that public sector organizations face. Chaput, a former acting chief technology officer (CTO) for the Directorate of Science & Technology at the Central Intelligence Agency, will be joining Deloitte as a managing director, Deloitte Consulting LLP, leading mission solutions development with defense, homeland security, and intelligence clients. McEwen, previously Public Sector vice president at ThoughtSpot, will be joining Deloitte as a managing director, Deloitte Consulting LLP, focused on assisting government agencies accelerate their data transformation efforts, incubating Deloitte’s AI solutions, and collaborating with Deloitte’s ecosystem of alliance partners.

As Acting CTO, Chaput developed and communicated technology strategy for the CIA through research, investment and partnerships. In her 17 years of service with the CIA, Chaput also held engineering positions in the National Clandestine Service and at the National Reconnaissance Office. Chaput was previously vice president for Civil Programs at Stellar Solutions, where she led the company’s civil sector efforts to deliver innovative engineering solutions for nonprofit, industry and government partners.
McEwen is an advisory board member at the Advanced Technology Academic Research Center, a nonprofit dedicated to technology transformation in the federal government. She joins Deloitte from ThoughtSpot, where she served as Public Sector vice president responsible for building strategic partnerships that forged connections across industry and government and drove commercial innovation in the federal market. Prior to that, McEwen held leadership positions at OmniSci and Qlik, where she built and led both companies’ government business units.
