Deloitte has earned the VMware Validated Designs – Certified Partner Architecture certification for its Integrated Multi Cloud Management solution (iMCM solution). The iMCM solutions allows for more agile, transparent and secure management of our clients’ cloud environments, regardless of the type of cloud – public, private or hybrid.
WASHINGTON, Aug. 21, 2017 — With many of its clients in the private and public sectors working with numerous cloud providers, Deloitte has earned VMware Validated Designs – Certified Partner Architecture certification for its Integrated Multi Cloud Management solution (iMCM solution). This iMCM solution enables Deloitte to offer clients a single, multi-tenant portal for their numerous cloud providers. For federal government clients, this multi-cloud solution accelerates the achievement of FedRAMP security requirements.
“Our new Integrated Multi Cloud Management solution, gives our clients the ability to manage their cloud landscape with standardized policies, procedures and cybersecurity workflows,” said Doug Bourgeois, managing director, Deloitte Consulting LLP and federal cloud leader. “As more organizations are moving to the cloud, especially for those federal agencies complying with the data center consolidation mandate, this solution makes it easier for organizations to manage their multi-cloud environments.”
The foundation of the iMCM solution platform is VMware Ready™ solution in the Certified Partner Architecture category, which designates that Deloitte has demonstrated to have followed a rigorous plan, build, test and validation process certified by VMware's Validated Design team.
“We are very excited about the capabilities Deloitte’s iMCM solution brings to our mutual customers,” said John Gilmartin, vice president and general manager, Integrated Systems Business Unit, VMware. “VMware Validated Designs provide extensively tested, datacenter-level reference architectures and operational guidelines that can drastically improve the time to value with VMware SDDC deployments. Customers benefit from a prescriptive and standardized approach to deploy VMware SDDC components according to best practices and validated interoperability. As a result, deployments become simpler and more predictable.”
Another basis of the iMCM solution offering is a framework that consists of common security policies and infrastructure governance. These policies are enforced by incorporating Cloud Security Management and enforcement capabilities across each layer of the cloud management stack as well as extending them into the cloud-provider environment.
“This multi-cloud solution allows for more agile, transparent and secure management of our clients’ cloud environments,” said Bourgeois. “Regardless of the type of cloud – public, private or hybrid – an organization can achieve its cloud goals in a more streamlined and secure manner.”
