Deloitte Launches New Digital Service Delivery Platform for Government Clients
Integrated approach simplifies IT system modernization and migration of data from disparate sources.
WASHINGTON, Sept. 21, 2021 — Deloitte has launched a new Digital Service Delivery Platform to provide its government clients a streamlined, sustainable and cost-effective way to modernize legacy applications, regardless of their underlying technologies. The result is improved delivery of a range of social services, health care, human services and workforce benefit programs.
These include nutrition benefits, cash assistance, Medicaid, long-term care, housing and utility assistance, child care, child welfare, child support, employment benefits and training programs, and refugee assistance.
Business and technology leaders in state and local government are being challenged to rapidly modernize their technology, while conserving resources, avoiding risk and disruption, and standardizing processes across teams and departments.
“Our clients are having to do more with less so it’s imperative that they transition from inefficient legacy systems to modern solutions that are easy to learn, deliver and maintain,” said Kenny Smith, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP, and Deloitte’s health and human services practice leader. “Our Digital Service Delivery Platform includes pre-packaged technology assets, methods, design patterns and blueprints to seamlessly streamline the migration from legacy systems and disparate data sources and quickly implement cutting-edge digital solutions using cloud, AI, CRM and call center technologies.”
“Our new platform helps government agencies take advantage of new capabilities like low-code and no-code technologies, microservices and data lake architectures to be more responsive to the needs of state workers and their constituents,” said Jason Salzetti, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP, and the leader of Deloitte’s state, local and higher education sector. “By focusing on human-centered design and an intuitive user experience, our clients can transform their operations, strengthen public trust and further enhance the delivery of services and benefits to the people they serve.”
Deloitte’s new Digital Service Delivery Platform:
- Prioritizes human-centered design to improve the end user’s experience.
- Deploys assets such as GovConnect™, HHS NextGen, HHS Interactive, CortexAI™ for Government, and digital contact centers to help agencies migrate from legacy IT systems.
- Establishes a digital transformation roadmap to help agencies expand and enhance the quality of digital service delivery, while continually integrating new technologies and innovations.
- Maximizes emerging technologies to help government agencies remain agile as they innovate and digitally transform their operations.
