Deloitte, SAP Launch the Next Generation of Federal Human Resources Technology
New cloud-based solution focuses on employee and HR professionals’ user experiences.
WASHINGTON, June 12, 2017 — Creating a more intuitive user experience – for HR professionals and employees – in the federal government is now possible as Deloitte and SAP announce HR FedForward™, a new cloud-based HR technology solution. This new solution can improve the employee and HR professional experience across the employee lifecycle.
“Federal HR leaders are thinking differently about their employees’ user experiences so that it is more like their user experiences as consumers,” said Dan Helfrich, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP and federal government services leader. “At the same time, federal HR leaders deserve good data and modern systems that can transform how HR serves the mission. HR FedForward meets both of these needs by transitioning from the aging, on-premise systems to a more modern, intuitive and data-rich HR platform.”
Built using SAP® SuccessFactors® HCM Suite, HR FedForward can enable federal agencies to offer their employees a consumer-grade HR experience, delivered in a secure cloud environment. It is fully compliant with Federal Title V regulations and FEDRAMP High/DISA IL4 security requirements.
- Software as a service (SaaS) and cloud models have low capital expenditures, simplifying implementation and upgrades, averaging 10-30 percent cost savings.
- Yearly upgrades are made on a central line of code with minimal cost or disruption to the customer, compared to large, costly Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) upgrades.
- The configurable solution reduces the cost of custom code and helps customers to rapidly deploy new modules or modify existing solution.
- Customers can turn data into true workforce insight and integrates talent management, reporting and analytics capabilities.
More about HR FedForward will be showcased at the SAP Digital Nation Summit Conference, June 15, 2017, in Washington, D.C., where HR FedForward will be officially unveiled. More information can be found here.
