New industry offering harnesses the power of Apttus technology
San Francisco, April 12, 2016 — Deloitte Digital and Apttus have developed a pre-configured solution for the medical device industry that is designed to empower the sales team with the necessary sales tools to sell more in an effective manner.
The medical device industry is facing many challenges, including selling customer-specific configured products in short time frames, new regulations and reforms, new care delivery models, and new decision-making paradigms. The Med Device Connect (MDC) solution addresses these challenges by defining pre-configured or flexible deal kits (bundles), automating pricing approvals calculated based on margin, providing contract compliance reports and real-time notifications to the sales and support teams, and showing real-time incentives for specific deals. Built on the Salesforce1 platform, the MDC solution provides easy access to authorized contract information. The solution also provides revenue-management capability to confirm that accruals for incentives and payments are properly managed and renewals are handled on a timely basis. These are enhancements to the ordering experience.
