A program that brings together select students from HBCUs across the country for the possibility of being awarded a $10,000 scholarship

Deloitte's 2023 Emerging Leaders Scholarship Recipients

This April, we announced our 20 Emerging Leaders Scholarship winners. These students attended the Deloitte HBCU Emerging Leaders Scholarship Program at Deloitte University and were each awarded $10,000.

Program overview

Are you a student attending an HBCU interested in a career in Accounting, Business, Technology, Analytics, or a STEM related field? If you have a keen interest in the details, strong leadership skills and enjoy making an impact on your college campus or in your community—consider applying for Deloitte’s HBCU Emerging Leaders Scholarship Program. 

This program will give you first-hand exposure to the professional services industry, allowing you to learn new business skills and deepen your knowledge in your field of interest. You will also have the opportunity to build a professional network across different business areas within Deloitte.

Applicants will participate in virtual interviews to be considered for internships and employment opportunities. The interviews will include an assessment of the applicant’s leadership skills demonstrating strong judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Those who receive an internship or full-time job offer will be eligible to attend the Deloitte HBCU Emerging Leaders Scholarship Program. Eligible participants will compete at Deloitte University or virtually to be considered for a Deloitte HBCU Emerging Leaders Scholarship of $10,000.

Individuals who have received other Deloitte scholarships within the last 2 years are not eligible to participate in the scholarship program.
