Audit & Assurance delivery assistant

Work you'll do

Working independently as well as collaborating with a diverse group of talented Audit & Assurance professionals, as an assistant on our US Delivery team you will be exposed to our clients to understand their business, the risks they face, their accounting processes and their internal controls. With a focus on quality, delivery and execution, your responsibilities include:

• Audit client financial statements, transactions and internal controls over financial reporting
• Perform data interrogation and analysis of client data
• Assist in identifying client process issues and recommending solutions
• Leverage innovative tools and technologies
• Meet professional expectations and develop industry proficiency to deliver exceptional audit quality and client service

I have been with Deloitte for almost 5 years. During my time with the USDC in Gilbert I have worked on a vast array of clients from all across the country. These clients were in various industries, such as Aerospace and Defense, Real Estate, Education, Healthcare, Power and Utilities, Transportation, and Consumer. In addition to my client work, I had the opportunity to facilitate trainings; be a part of teams working to bring innovation, efficiency, and diverse perspectives to audit and the USDC; as well as participate in intermural sports (including soccer, softball, and kickball). I recently became a mom and have been able to balance work with my personal commitments. My coworkers are supportive, understanding, and considerate of my time and capacity. Being an auditor with the Deloitte USDC has given me the ability to pursue a career in a place where I feel appreciated, my values are respected, and I can prioritize my family.
