The business technology analyst (BTA) program gives you the ability to discover your professional passions through a variety of project experiences. As a BTA, you'll dive right in as a pivotal member of a service delivery team. Together, you'll help the client in their efforts to create and implement effective business solutions that can help improve their company's business performance and value. Over the course of your career, you will gain exposure to a diverse set of industries, clients, and project roles. In addition, you can contribute by assisting in the development of project proposals, presentations, and industry publications.
There are opportunities to join either the Commercial or the Federal Practice.
What we look for
We look for strong academic performance: minimum 3.4 GPA preferred and demonstrated exceptional performance in these and other related majors:
- Technology: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems
- Business: Accounting, Business, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain
- Engineering: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain US Government clearance (for Federal candidates)

Business Technology Analyst
2 -3 years - Develop broad consulting skills; Gain foundational technical skills within service line; Gather and research data; develop pertinent and thoughtful analysis; contribute to the creation of deliverables
1-3 years - Expand technical proficiency within service line; Develop conclusions from analysis; take responsibility for creating and leading portions of deliverables
Graduate School *optional

2-4 years - Gain proficiency in technology solutions, system architecture and technical skillset within service line; Lead and evaluate analysis to draw conclusions and develop insightful recommendations and solutions; design deliverable content
3-6 years - Plan and manage moderately complex engagements; structure, review, and validate analysis and recommendations

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives; identify sales opportunities; direct engagement management
As a consultant on her current project, Ashley Babischkin works four days per week on the client site and Fridays at the Rosslyn office. She uses technology to help clients address a host of challenges. “Business technology consulting can be anything,” she says.
