Become the CFO's trusted advisor
As a consultant in our Finance Transformation practice, you’ll strive to become the CFO’s primary trusted advisor. As a member of our team, you can make an impact on our finance client organizations.
Do you want to focus on advising the CFO and the finance function, improving value within the organization and externally in the marketplace? We navigate change within and through the finance function, helping to enable value creation through activities such as mergers or divestitures, taking a company public, building financial processes and organizations to keep pace with a rapidly growing company, improving reporting, analysis and decision making, and driving cost reduction through finance. Our job is often to craft the roadmap across people, process, and technology to navigate the transformation, and then execute the strategy to help generate results.

As a consultant, you would have the opportunity to spend your first two or three years serving clients in a wide range of industries on assignments that reflect the range of finance-related services we provide.
1-2 years - Develop conclusions from analysis; take responsibility for creating and leading portions of deliverables
2-4 years - Lead and evaluate analysis to draw conclusions and develop insightful recommendations and solutions; design deliverable content
3-6 years - Plan and manage moderately complex engagements; structure, review, and validate analysis and recommendations
4-6 years - Provide overall engagement management; integrate recommendations into a solution for the client
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives; identify sales opportunities; direct engagement management.

The Consultant Training Program helps you develop the “hard” skills needed to understand clients’ problems and formulate thoughtful recommendations, and practice the “soft” skills needed to develop strong internal and external relationships. Part of the learning is through a week-long simulation working with a team of peers to solve a real business problem.
The Senior Consultant Training Program includes seminars on how to manage change, ask the right questions as consultants, framing discussions, and persuasion techniques. Participants work in teams on a simulated client engagement to solve many common client challenges.
