On June 14, 2017, the Treasury Department and the IRS published proposed regulations that provide rules and address key changes for partnerships subject to the new centralized partnership audit regime. Generally, the new centralized audit regime assesses and collects tax at the partnership level. How could these proposed regulations impact your company? We’ll discuss:
- The scope of the new centralized audit regime and rules to govern its application.
- Qualifications for electing out of the centralized audit regime.
- Issues to be addressed in partnership agreement revisions.
Participants will learn about business, tax, and other considerations for partnerships in connection with these new rules.
