What we have done

An engineering & construction company was lacking a broad HR strategy to complement its global growth plans. HR processes across the organization were not standardized, which made them difficult to manage and inefficient to operate. As a result, the company could not focus on developing key talent and that, in turn, restrained its ability to meet strategic objectives. In order to deal with some of these large issues, the organization decided to roll out Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion).

Deloitte worked with the company to conduct a broad assessment of its HR and talent processes and adopt standardized process throughout the organization. Deloitte also provided guidance in redefining the HR operating model and HR organization structure to better align with business strategies and the company’s long-term vision. Leveraging our deep experience in Oracle Fusion, we also helped the company develop a futuristic, integrated design of the Fusion application and effectively roll it out organization-wide, implementing Fusion’s Core HR, Absence Management, Benefits, Talent, and Workforce Compensation modules.

Talent process improvement and Fusion Cloud HR and Talent implementation

A gaming software company had disparate business processes due to growth through acquisition. The company had three divisions and more than 15 studios, all following different processes and not systematically integrated. The lack of standardized processes, with numerous variations and exceptions across the organization, meant HR process management was complex and costly.

The company decided to integrate its processes by implementing Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion). Deloitte helped the organization conduct process and HR service delivery assessments that focused on standardizing, streamlining, and shifting responsibilities in processes. The team also strategized change management activities considering stakeholder dynamics in various divisions and studios and developed project foundational materials, including guiding principles for the implementation, governance structure, and more tactical deliverables, such as a project plan, budgeting estimates, and kick-off materials.

Post-merger Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion) implementation assessment

Challenged by the lack of broad HR strategy, a non-integrated technology solution, and the absence of standardized HR processes and policies, a pharmaceuticals company sought to transform its HR function The company wanted to redesign HR processes and prepare an HR strategy roadmap along with integrating various internal and external applications and converting data from legacy system.

The company selected Deloitte to assist in its HR transformation journey and implementation of Oracle’s HCM Cloud (Fusion) solution. Deloitte helped with the development of a broad Value Added Service Transformation (VAST) program to drive exceptional culture, capability, and capacity to enable the organization to achieve its business strategy and growth goals. Deloitte also led the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion HR and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) applications in the organization.

At the end of the transformational project, the company had established a strong foundation for enabling the HR Transformation vision, including streamlining HR practices and improving decision-making capabilities. Also as part of the implementation, manual processes were automated and tight audit controls were established, and managers and employees were empowered with self-service capabilities to reduce administrative tasks and free HR professionals to focus on more strategic initiatives.
