Our mission and purpose

Deloitte is committed to making an impact in academia. In 2016, Deloitte founded the Center for Higher Education Excellence™ ("the Center"), an incubator investing in groundbreaking research, the development of future leaders, and collaborations and partnerships with leading universities. Through research, immersive labs, and forums, the Center engages the broader community in exploring critical topics, overcoming constraints, and charting a path forward in this new era of higher education.

New Era Forum

The New Era Forum is an annual convening of carefully selected college and university presidents, chancellors, and several state systems of higher education, who are collectively defining the future of higher education through their transformative leadership. With a limited number of attendees, private settings, off-the-record discussions, and thoughtfully facilitated sessions, the New Era Forum allows leaders to think through some of the most complex issues facing higher education.
