Bruce Scheffel

Bruce is a managing director at Deloitte Consulting LLP for the Application Modernization and Innovation (AMI) offering which is part of the Core Business Operations portfolio. He specializes in the overall delivery of large technology implementation projects and manages large custom development software projects using a variety of technologies and integration technologies on multiple platforms. His background has significant hands-on management of infrastructure, performance optimization, integration, data conversion, and technical architecture domains.

Bruce also has significant experience in application modernization efforts from assessment, disposition, roadmap planning, development, implementation, and support of legacy application portfolios. He has delivered large modernization projects on both mainframe and open systems platforms. Given his primary focus on very large complex delivery projects, Bruce operates across various industries, with significant time spent in retail, health care, and the public sector.

Bruce received his BA degree from Northwestern University and his master’s degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In his free time, he enjoys tennis and watching football.
