Chalan, a managing director at Deloitte & Touche LLP, is a member of the Cyber & Strategic Risk practice of Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory. He has a deep technology and operations background spanning his 25+ year career in networking, cloud and security in product executive roles in leading tech-firms in Silicon Valley. Chalan focuses on helping clients enhance operational efficiency through cyber services while reducing exposure to cyberthreats and managing operational, regulatory, and emerging risks.
Chalan is currently Deloitte Cyber & Strategic Risk’s Product and Services Leader as well as a member of the Zero Trust leadership team. He is focused on enabling new cyber services with deep tech-value while also serving some of the world’s largest global enterprises across all industries. He also has experience in working with telecom service providers and delivering managed services.
Chalan received a PhD from North Carolina State University, focused on Computer Engineering and an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He has 6 issued patents and is a sought-out thought leader in cloud, networking and security services.
