Conrad is a partner in the Tax Management Consulting practice (TMC) in Deloitte UK. In March 2017 he was appointed the first chief digital officer for the Deloitte Global Tax and Legal business and now sits on the Deloitte Global Tax & Legal Executive in that capacity.
Conrad is based in the UK. The principal area of his practice has been advising companies on the management of tax. This ranges from designing tax operating models for large multi-nationals through to helping them implement appropriate governance, process and technology programmes, and managing large scale outsource compliance and reporting services. Conrad also led the Abacus tax software products business from 2000 when the business was formed to when it was sold to Thomson Reuters in 2009.
Through his work, Conrad has extensive experience of the ways in which digital technologies have been adopted in the setting and administering of fiscal policy around the world.
Conrad is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Chartered Institute of Taxation and BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT. He is also a member of the Advisory Board and a Visiting Policy Fellow of the Oxford Internet Institute at Oxford University.
