Gerald Fujimoto

Gerry is a Forensic & Investigation Services partner in Deloitte’s Risk & Financial Advisory practice in Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP, with more than 35 years of experience in conducting audits, forensic investigations and providing litigation support. His primary areas of focus are conducting internal corporate investigations and assisting counsel with litigation support as an expert witness or as a consultant. Prior to joining Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory practice, Gerry was an audit partner in Deloitte’s Audit practice, where he worked for almost 19 years performing audits on both public and private companies.

He has extensive experience in complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition, equity accounting, and the timing of reserves and restructuring charges. Gerry has experience testifying as an expert witness for both corporations and government agencies. He also leads forensic accounting partner on numerous internal corporate investigations and litigation support work. Gerry has assisted companies, audit and special committees and outside counsel in the understanding of, the investigation into or defending allegations of accounting and financial reporting improprieties.
