Jay Perry

Jay is the Deloitte Tax LLP Chief Quality & Risk Officer and on the US Tax Executive Leadership Team, Vice Chair of the US Tax Board, and a member of the Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited Board of Directors. As a partner with more than 30 years of public accounting experience, Jay leads the National Tax Quality Assurance Group, and is responsible for a wide range of quality assurance, risk management and professional practice matters, and address risk management issues for many of the Firm’s largest and most complex engagements. He specializes in tax preparer regulatory matters, technology risk assessments, global regulatory matters, independence and contracting. He also serves as the primary risk management partner for Deloitte’s Washington National Tax Office.

Jay is a Certified Public Accountant in the District of Columbia and Nebraska and earned a master’s in taxation from American University in Washington, D.C. and a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Nebraska.
