Jeffrey Naumann

Jeff is a managing director in Deloitte & Touche LLP's Audit & Assurance Products & Solutions organization. He leads the development and deployment of technology solutions to the Audit & Assurance practice. Jeff also works with companies and regulators on the implementation of data standards for the collection and analysis of business reporting information. Prior to rejoining the firm, Jeff was the assistant director of the Office of Interactive Data at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for seven years. In this position, Jeff led the implementation of the commission’s multiple XBRL disclosure rules as part of the overall effort to enhance the usefulness of data in commission filings. Jeff and his team were also responsible for deploying tools and processes to further analytic use of the structured data from these disclosures by the SEC’s operating divisions.
