Kevin Metke

Kevin leads Deloitte Tax LLP’s Central Region and Chicago Private Wealth Tax practice. He has been consulting with wealthy families, family offices and high-net worth individuals on their personal tax matters for more than twenty years. Kevin has lectured on estate, gift, and income tax matters nationally and has written comment letters to the Internal Revenue Service for the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA). He is a member of the National Estate and Gift Tax Review Team at Deloitte and he prepared the firm’s first retroactive generation skipping-tax exemption allocation.

Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Illinois CPA Society, and the Chicago Estate Planning Council (CEPC). Kevin has also served on the executive board and was the treasurer of Boundless Readers, a Chicago based not-for-profit focused on developing young readers and on the Finance Committee for Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School.

Kevin graduated with honors from the University of Illinois earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and he has a Master’s of Science degree in Accountancy with a specialization in Taxation.
