Kevin Urbanowicz

In his role as a managing director with Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Cyber & Strategic Risk practice, Kevin leads the Cyber Detect & Response Advisory portfolio of services and is the Oil & Gas industry leader for cyber services. He brings more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on helping his clients transform and innovate to next-gen cyber detection and response programs.

As an industry thought leader, Kevin understands the unique needs and challenges of the Oil & Gas sector and brings his clients leading practices and risk-based strategies that help drive results and reduce residual cyber risk while increasing operational effectiveness. He has been a featured keynote speaker at Energy Industry conferences on topics including Advanced Threat Detection, Cyber Analytics, Insider Threat, Board-awareness for Cyber, Cyber Metrics and Reporting, and next-generation SOC.

Kevin graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with a BBA in International Business. He is Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and is intricately involved with the Information Systems Audit & Control Association (ISACA).

In his free time, Kevin enjoys a variety of physical activities to stay fit, with skiing being at the top of the list. He also enjoys playing his collection of guitars and listening to old vinyl records.
