Matthew Lew

Matthew is a managing director in Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP’s Turnaround and Restructuring practice and has nearly 20 years of financial consulting and restructuring experience at Deloitte. Mr. Lew’s experience over the last 11 years has been focused on assisting companies measure and manage their liquidity through weekly direct cash flow forecasting, working capital improvement, cash flow governance, and enhanced reporting on key variances and metrics to internal and external stakeholders. Mr. Lew has served as a financial advisor in chapter 11 proceedings for multi-billion-dollar companies in the travel, retail, and health care sectors where he has collaborated with attorneys and investment bankers on liquidity management, operational stability, stakeholder negotiations, contract disposition, claims estimation and $363 sales transactions.

Outside of supporting distressed companies, Mr. Lew also focuses on advising multi-national companies with integrating direct cash flow forecasting and working capital analytics into their FP&A and Treasury functions to drive transparency, accountability, and functional connectivity centered on liquidity.
