Paul Silver

Paul is a principal with Deloitte & Touche LLP and the leader of Deloitte’s Corporate Intelligence Services (CIS) practice, which provides third-party diligence compliance and investigation assistance to companies across all industries. Paul is also a Life Sciences Regulatory Compliance Leader for the Risk & Financial Advisory practice.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer products industry specializing in compliance and regulatory matters. Paul regularly works with in-house legal counsel, corporate compliance officers, senior operations professionals, and outside legal counsel that support these professionals. Paul provides industry insight on various government health care investigations related to the sales and marketing of drugs and devices, fair market value, and the engagement of health care providers (HCPs).

Paul has held various roles in operations and district and regional sales and marketing for multi-national pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. Paul has also provided HCP and Service Fee fair market value (FMV) solutions to over 85 different life sciences companies. His hands-on industry experience provides him with a real-world perspective that he brings to the needs of his clients.

Paul holds a B.S. in Business and Strategic Communications from the University of Alabama. He is a nationally recognized speaker in the area of sales and marketing compliance at various forums and serves on several editorial boards for industry publications.
