Mike Scaramella

Mike has extensive experience advising clients—including some of the largest private equity firms in the country—on US federal income tax issues and specializes in the use of partnerships and limited liability companies in domestic mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, and restructurings.

Mike is an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He has participated in panels addressing income tax issues at some of the country’s leading tax conferences, including New York University’s Institute on Federal Taxation and conferences organized by Tax Executives Institute, American Bar Association Tax Section, and Practising Law Institute. Mike also has authored numerous articles on income tax issues affecting partnerships and their partners.

Mike received his BSS and MST from Northern Illinois University and his JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
