Tanya Ott

Tanya Ott spent more than 30 years as a public radio journalist and newsroom manager. Her stories aired on NPR, Marketplace, the BBC and elsewhere. She is now an assistant professor of practice and journalist in residence at Mercer University, where she teaches data journalism, media entrepreneurship, podcasting and other classes. She's researched and written extensively on the spread of misinformation/disinformation on social media, newsroom recruitment and hiring, and issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
