Vipul has more than 13 years of experience assisting companies with financial analysis and operational improvement. He is a skilled restructuring professional and analyst, with experience in turnaround, restructuring, bankruptcy, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Vipul has experience in business plan analysis and development, addressing long-term and short-term liquidity, balance sheet improvements via sale of assets and recapitalization, strategic planning, revenue enhancement, cost realignment, acquisitions due diligence, and merger integration.

Notable assignments include:

  • Assisted chief restructuring officer (CRO) of a $200 million marketing services company to oversee sales process, including auctioning customers, providing transitional services for buyers, sale of assets, closure of offices, and overseeing cash management to enable orderly wind-down of business and maximize recovery for creditors
  • Assessed business plan of a $400 million semiconductor manufacturer, presented to lenders and board on viability concerns and highlighted potential profitability, worked with management to identify cost savings of $15 million
  • Served as financial advisor to mezzanine lenders of a $400 million multi-national manufacturer, where he developed financial models and assessed liquidity needs for various restructuring scenarios to assist with restructuring of capital structure
  • Served as financial advisor to bank group of a $35 million home products company, where he developed a reorganization plan enabling return to profitability and successful restructuring of balance sheet
  • Developed turnaround plan for a $50 million telecom services provider by improving pricing strategy, expansion in new delivery channel via formation of strategic alliances and reducing G&A costs to generate $3 million in EBITDA
  • Identified $6 million in synergies during commercial due diligence for the fourth largest mattress manufacturer with $300 million in revenues; also led the integration of six manufacturing facilities, and created management reporting tools to track integration and synergy realization
  • Reduced incurred costs by $20 million per annum for a $2 billion enterprise software firm, via evaluation/reorganization of sales force and commission plans
