Virtual Team Challenge
What if your students could play a game and learn vital business skills?
They can. It’s Deloitte’s Virtual Team Challenge, a real-time, multi-user business simulation and competition that is played over the course of six weeks by high school students nationwide. Your students will roll up their sleeves and face business tasks and challenges that simulate the real-world experiences of professional services employees like the people with careers at Deloitte. The stakes are high and the competition is fierce. Your students can even win prizes for their team, their school, their local United Way chapter and even for you!

Virtual Team Challenge: Spill is an award-winning free online, multiplayer business simulation that takes place in the animated 3D world of New City. The team objective in the simulation is to help the city’s mayor stage the most efficient oil spill recovery effort. The game runs twice a year: once in the fall and once in the spring. Teachers register and assign their students to teams of four. Then when the game opens, teams compete against teams nationwide to complete the game’s tasks with the highest scores.
The Deloitte Virtual Team Challenge (VTC) gives participants a taste of the different aspects of working at a fictional professional services firm. Every participant fulfills one of several roles on a simulated professional services team and competes against other teams to clean up an oil spill in the river of New City.
At the conclusion of the challenge, Deloitte will be making a real-world donation to a local chapter of United Way Worldwide on behalf of winning teams so you can really make a difference in the lives of others!
To learn more about the VTC, download our brochures for teachers, students, or parents (coming soon).
