Deloitte Forensic appoints Jarrod Baker as Southeast Asia Forensic Investigations Leader with effect from 2 January 2019 as part of expansion plans in the region
HANOI, 9 January 2019 – Deloitte Forensic in Southeast Asia (SEA) continues its expansion into the region with the appointment of Jarrod Baker on 2 January 2019.
Jarrod joins Deloitte as a partner based in Singapore, and takes on the role as SEA Forensic Investigations Leader. He has nearly 20 years of experience in various forensic roles in Australia, Europe and Singapore and is an experienced forensic accountant who has conducted numerous financial crime investigations for large financial institutions across the Southeast Asia region and globally. He is experienced in establishing, building and leading multi-disciplinary forensic teams in professional services firms.
Prior to joining Deloitte, he was the Senior Managing Director at a leading business advisory firm where he was responsible for forensic and litigation consulting services. Having been in Singapore for the past four years, Jarrod has been instrumental in helping banks and corporates with investigations into complex fraud, serious misconduct and financial crime.
His experience includes high profile investigations involving the United States Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the UK Financial Conduct Authority, and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
In his role as Deloitte SEA Forensic Investigations Leader, he will help further build on forensic services across the Southeast Asia region.
