Susan K. Hogan is a member of the behavioral economics team within Deloitte Services LP’s Center for Integrated Research. Prior to joining Deloitte, Hogan taught consumer behavior at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Her research focuses on customer and business growth, decision processes, and how these issues impact the customer experience and loyalty. Her recent works include Loving the one you’re with: How behavioral factors influence responses to customer rewards and incentives; On the couch: Understanding consumer shopping behavior; Breaking up is hard to do: How behavioral factors effect consumer decisions to stay in in business relationships; and The tail wagging the dog: How retail is changing consumer expectations of the health care patient-provider relationship.
Rod is vice chairman, Deloitte LLP, and leads the US Retail & Distribution practice. He is responsible for driving key sector initiatives that include original research, talent development, and strategies that guide retailers as they navigate uncertainty, compete globally, and improve performance and profitability. A principal in Deloitte Consulting LLP, Rod has more than 25 years of experience in store operations, supply chain, procurement, back-office operations, and IT.
Alison is a principal in the Retail & Distribution practice of Deloitte LLP. From 2010–2015, she served as vice chairman and national sector leader for the practice. Today she leads Deloitte’s relationship with a Fortune 50 retailer. With more than 30 years of strategy, business development, and marketing experience, Alison is a preeminent speaker and author on consumer business and retail trends. She was recently invited to join the International Women’s Forum, and serves on the National Retail Federation Board of Directors. She is also past president of the Network of Executive Women (NEW) and currently serves on NEW’s Nominating/Succession committee.
