Our selection process is designed so that we can find out more about you and equally so you can learn more about us. Along the way you will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and build on your knowledge of what we do.

The wide variety of career options at Deloitte means that we apply a number of different approaches to the application process, depending on the job you’ve applied for. Across the board, though, our aim is to ensure that we achieve a thorough understanding of your background and deliver a fair decision.

In general terms, once you’ve submitted an online application, your experience will be assessed to gauge how well it matches the job description. You should bear this in mind when filling it in, as the more information you can provide, the easier it is for us to make a decision.

Depending on the job you’ve applied for, you may be asked to complete psychometric or skills based tests, or to consider a case study and share your opinions on how you would tackle a client’s business problems. Also, the more senior the role that you are applying for, the greater the number of competency-based interviews that you will be asked to attend. It is during such interviews that you will have the opportunity to get to know Deloitte better and ask any questions you have.

Once you make it through all these selection procedures, the final stage will revolve around a more in-depth discussion of your background, experience and skills. At this point you may also be asked to make a presentation or take part in a group discussion.

DITT

Through the Deloitte Invites Top Talent (DITT) initiative, every year Deloitte invites the top 15th percentile of students from select schools across the region to get to know us better.

Each meeting is designed to familiarize students with the firm’s mission, vision and values as well as the service lines it provides.

Participants also engage in ice-breaking games and business activities that test both group and individual strengths.
