Eric Mc Gee | Deloitte Africa

Eric recently joined Deloitte as an Associate Director in the cyber practice. He entered the cyber security space when he joined the BCX Group in 1998 at Nanoteq where he managed the security product development. In 2004 he moved from Nanoteq to BCX Networks, where he assisted in starting the Information Security Competency. Since 2008 he managed the Security Line of Business for BCX.   In 2014 he became the Managing Executive for the Communications and Security Business Unit at BCX looking after cybersecurity and network managed services for BCX.

Eric holds a B.Eng Electronics (Hons) from the University of Pretoria.  He started his career as a micro-electronics integrated circuit designer and embedded system developer, and later project management. Additional to his formal education, Eric holds a CISSP, CISA, and CRISC professional certifications.
