Ryan is a Director in the Actuarial & Insurance Solutions division of Deloitte Africa. He leads the Johannesburg Life division and has over 26 years of experience working with several life insurance companies in Africa and abroad. Ryan is the Head of Actuarial Function (HAF) for several life insurance companies and has expertise in IFRS 17 implementation, including development of actuarial models and processes to perform the IFRS 17 calculations. He is a specialist in building actuarial models in Prophet for life insurance companies including solvency, embedded value and IFRS 17 calculations.
