2020 Mid-Year Review of the Budget Statement

Summary of budget statement & Deloitte views

The Minister of Finance, on 23 July 2020 presented the Mid-Year Budget Statement for 2020 financial year to the Parliament of Ghana. This is in accordance with the provisions of Article 179 (8) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana, Standing Order 143 of Parliament of Ghana and Section 28 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).

This year’s mid-year review focused on the economic plans Government intends to put in place to alleviate the adverse impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy, businesses and households.
