Empowering West African entrepreneurs

Deloitte in West Africa, many of our people are working to help clients understand and exploit the technological tsunami, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is now sweeping aside the old order. But what about those less privileged – who aren’t our clients but who live in the communities and societies in which our firm is rooted?

By applying our skills, experience and global reach, we at Deloitte believe we can make a significant difference to helping those who may otherwise be left behind.

So, for this reason, Deloitte West Africa has partnered with the hugely respected Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) to empower entrepreneurs in the region. Not just a few of them but thousands.

Deloitte West Africa has established a mentorship partnership with TEF in which 318 Deloittians across Nigeria and Ghana have signed up to mentor 954 entrepreneurs over a 12-week period.

The programme allows our people to provide valuable expertise to young up-and-coming entrepreneurs in West Africa.

Providing guidance on various industries, we are able to help young people navigate a brave new world.
